75% of UAE consumers put off buying between in order to take advantage of attractive deals
During the holy months of Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr, residents of the UAE and the Gulf area will spend more money, but the majority—75%—plan to wait to make purchases in order to take advantage of special deals and promotions.

Retailers in the UAE, both online and offline, operate extensive sales and campaigns, providing discounts of up to 90% before Eid Al Fitr, which according to astronomical calculations is predicted to fall on Friday, April 21.
According to a poll by YouGov that was commissioned by GIG Gulf, shoppers are motivated by inflation and a desire to "make up for the pandemic years," with nearly half of GCC residents anticipating higher Eid gift prices than in previous years.
The majority, though, will postpone their purchases until Ramadan-related events and discounts are available. The data also shows that frugal drivers are more inclined to renew and pay for insurance plans in advance in exchange for Ramadan discounts.
The inaugural three-day Great Online Sale in Dubai, Ramadan edition, will start on April 14 and feature discounts of up to 95% from a variety of e-commerce sites and online businesses.

Ounass, Noon, Azadea, 6th Street, Mall Of The Emirates, Mom Store, The Red Carpet, V Perfume, Carrefour, Virgin Megastore, Jumbo, Lacoste, Centrepoint, Puma, Namshi, and numerous other businesses are among those taking part in the deal.
One of the biggest retailers in the area, Apparel Group, will also participate in the three-day sale and will provide discounts of up to 70% on R&B, Dune London, Crocs, Aldo, Rituals, Tommy Hilfiger, His & Hers, and Steve Madden products.

Also, Ramadan Nights 2023 will be held at Sharjah Exhibition Centre and will feature more than 170 exhibitors and more than 500 brands on a variety of goods. The sale, which runs until April 21, will give customers discounts of up to 70%.
