(Al-Asousi) announces new features in “My Identity” from “Al-Madaniya” for residents of the country
Musaed Al-Asousi, Director General of the Public Authority for Civil Information, announced the launch of a new update for the (My Identity) application.

The reason for adding new services to my identity application:
The Director General of the Public Authority for Civil Information announced that the services added to the new version of the (My Identity) application came after the authority found the most prominent needs and suggestions of those registered in previous versions, especially with regard to registering the resident for the first time, which has been addressed to benefit more than 400,000 residents annually.
Added services to my identity application:
Al-Asousi indicated that the services added to the (My Identity) application include rapid registration with NFC technology, which allows reading the civil card chip without the need to manually enter data, displaying the civil card image and the ability to share it with others, in addition to updating the image verification mechanism when using the application.
New permission for My Identity application:
The Director General of the Public Authority for Civil Information added that the new features of the (My Identity) application enable the user to locate the Authority's self-service machines, adding that the new look of the application is a reprogramming of previous versions and serves the topics of a larger segment of users.
Addressing 80 government agencies to inform them of the new update of the My Identity application:
Musaed Al-Asousi pointed out that 80 government and private agencies were addressed, most notably the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior, Civil Aviation, banking sectors and companies, to inform them of the new update of the (My Identity) application, with reference to the continuation of the old version of the application.
(My Identity) application is a digital civil card:
It is worth noting that the application (My Identity) was approved in accordance with a decision of the Kuwaiti Council of Ministers to be a digital civil card that is reliable in the official authorities and serves a number of more than three million users.
