Dubai RTA: free parking For the Eid Al Fitr holiday

In addition to various service changes, Dubai RTA has announced free parking for the three days of the Eid Al Fitr holiday.

Parking will be free starting on Thursday, April 20, and lasting until either Sunday or Monday, depending on whether the Moon will be visible. However, parking in multi-level parking lots will not be cost-free.

For both public and private sector employees, the Eid Al Fitr holiday will start on Thursday, April 20.

According to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization, the break would last from Shawwal 3 through Ramadan 29, or April 20.

If Ramadan is 29 days long, Shawwal 3 will fall on Sunday, April 23, and on Monday, April 24, respectively.

The Red and Green Line stations on the RTA's Metro will be open from Thursday through Saturday from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m., and on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m.

From Thursday through Saturday, 6 am to 1 am (the next day), and on Sunday, 9 am to 1 am, Dubai Tram will be in operation.

Public buses in Dubai will run from 6 am to 1 midnight, and the feeder bus stations for the metro will run at the same times as the first and last metro rides.

Every Inter-City bus route will run according to the normal schedule.
