Closure of the floating bridge in Dubai for 5 weeks

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has made an announcement that the floating bridge would be closed in both directions beginning the following Monday, which is the equivalent of April 17, and will remain closed for a period of five weeks until the primary repair works on the bridge are concluded. This shutdown is scheduled to begin the Monday following April 17th.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Street is one of the primary axes and roadways in the city, thus the government devised a comprehensive strategy to divert traffic away from it. This is done to ensure that there are no hiccups in the flow of traffic.
