The International Astronomy Center announced, through its official account on the Twitter site, that some countries have announced that Eid Al-Fitr will be next Saturday.

He revealed through his account that these countries are Indonesia, Malaysia, the Sultanate of Brunei, Australia, Thailand, Singapore and Japan.
UAE declares Eid Al-Fitr on Friday
It is worth noting that the committee in charge of investigating the sighting of the crescent of the month of Shawwal for the year 1444 AH in the UAE announced that today, Thursday, is the completion of the holy month of Ramadan, and that Friday is the first day of Eid Al-Fitr.
And the committee stated this evening - that the committee, after investigation and taking into account all methods of proof of legality, and after the contacts it made with neighboring countries, it was proven that tonight it sighted the crescent of the month of Shawwal for this year .. Therefore, Thursday, corresponding to April 20, 2023, is the completion of the blessed month of Ramadan 1444 AH, and that day Friday, 21 April 2023, is the first day of Shawwal.
On this occasion, the Committee raised its sincere congratulations and blessings to the wise leadership, the people of the UAE and all Muslims on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
