It was referred to as the "Golden Opportunity," and it was mentioned that applicants can apply for an Emirati driving licence even if they haven't taken any driving lessons or received any instruction, providing that they pass the final test, which is referred to as the "road test."

And the authority announced, via a tweet posted on its account on the social networking platform Twitter, that it is feasible for holders of driving licences issued from countries that were not included in the list of countries whose driving licences of 43 countries can be exchanged to apply for a licence in the country. The list of countries whose driving licences can be exchanged is comprised of 43 nations.

Conditions for obtaining a driving license in the UAE

It is necessary to complete a programme of training and lessons in addition to a set of theoretical and practical tests in order to obtain a driving licence in the UAE.
