In addition to other service improvements, the Dubai RTA has announced that parking would be free during the duration of the Eid al-Fitr holiday, which spans three days.

From Thursday, April 20 to either Sunday or Monday, depending on Moon sighting, parking will be free, according to the transportation authorities. However, parking garages with multiple levels will demand a fee.
On Thursday, April 20, employees in the public and private sectors will begin celebrating Eid Al Fitr.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation states that the time period starts on April 20 (the 29th day of Ramadan) and continues until May 3 (the 3rd day of Shawwal).
If Ramadan continues for 29 days, the third day of Shawwal occurs on Sunday, April 23, and if it continues for 30 days, the third day of Shawwal occurs on Monday, April 24.
Service on the RTA's Metro Red and Green Line stations will begin at 5 a.m. and continue until 1 a.m. (the following day) on Thursday through Saturday. On Sunday, however, service will begin at 8 a.m. and run until midnight.
The hours of operation for the Dubai Tram are Thursday through Saturday, 6am to 1am, and Sunday, 9am to 1am.

Dubai's public bus service will run from 6am to 1am, with service beginning and ending at the same times as the first and last metro rides.
