Based on the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, the Fujairah Police General Command announced a 50% reduction in the value of traffic violations, the cancellation of traffic points, and the value of impounding vehicles, as of November 29, 2022 AD, and for a period of 60 days, for traffic violations recorded before November 26, 2022 AD. The reduction does not include aggravated violations.
The Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police, Major General Muhammad Ahmed bin Ghanim Al Kaabi, confirmed that the decision came in the interest of His Highness to make citizens and residents happy, on the occasion of the country's 50th National Day. Al-Kaabi said: The Fujairah Police is keen to implement initiatives that will bring joy and pleasure to customers, and help them to complete their traffic transactions easily and easily.
The Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department, Colonel Saleh Muhammad Al-Dhanhani, called on the community members to seize the opportunity and expedite the payment of violations, benefit from the discount during this period, and end the accumulated traffic violations.
Reducing traffic violations in Sharjah by 50%
In accordance with the decision issued by the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, the Sharjah Police General Command announced a 50% reduction in the value of traffic fines in celebration of the 51st Federation Day of the United Arab Emirates, for a period of 51 days, from December 1, 2022 to January 20, 2023.
The Sharjah Police General Command began to take all measures related to the implementation of the decision in a timely manner, and this includes all violations registered before the date of December 1, except for severe violations, in addition to canceling the impoundment of vehicles, and canceling the traffic points resulting from all violations.
The Sharjah Police General Command calls on drivers and vehicle owners to take advantage of the decision to reduce violations and settle the situation, noting that the fine payment service is available through the Sharjah Police application and the Ministry of Interior application (MOI UAE), in addition to the (easy) devices deployed in police stations. and commercial centers in the emirate.
