Sahl application that contributes to establishing companies

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has launched 6 new electronic services related to applications for establishing companies through the “Sahl Business” application for business owners, in order to improve the business environment and simplify procedures for users benefiting from the application’s services.

The spokesman for the unified government application for electronic services, “Sahl,” Yousef Kazem, explained through a press statement that the new services listed were added thanks to the directives and follow-up of the Minister of Trade and Industry, Abdullah Al-Joaan, in order to activate new services for the ministry that concern entrepreneurs and business owners through “Sahl Business” In addition to developing its services.

The Ministry of Affairs launches a service to inquire about shareholders’ data through Sahl:

Kazim added that the services listed in the application include requests for establishing personal companies (profit-making, non-profit-making, professional-holding companies), and they have been listed under the Kuwait Business Center section in the “services” list.

On the other hand, the Director of the Public Relations and Media Department and the official spokesman for the Ministry of Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Anzi, launched a new addition to the Ministry’s services in the unified government application for electronic services via Sahl to inquire about the data of shareholders in cooperative societies.

Al-Enezi continued that the new addition contributes to inquiring about the shareholder number in cooperative societies, and the extent of his right to vote in the general assembly and elections, by viewing this information directly through a data list within the (Sahl) application.

It was reported that the total number of shareholders in cooperative societies amounted to about 513,319 shareholders, 288,716 males and 224,603 females, distributed among 77 consumer, productive, craft and qualitative cooperative societies, Kazem also stated that activating this service comes within the strategy of the Ministry of Affairs and its keenness to support the process of digital transformation and provide the best Services to the public with high quality and ease for citizens.

• Visit the application download page and choose the appropriate version for the device.

• Approve the required permissions.

• Enter the civil number and agree to the terms and conditions.

• Follow the authentication steps to complete the registration process and start benefiting from the services.

The sources indicated that the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in Kuwait has launched new updates to the “Sahl Business” application, These updates include new services aimed at enhancing transparency and facilitating commercial and legal procedures for businesses in Kuwait, such as:

-The violations inquiry service, which falls under the “Commercial Oversight Services” category, which allows users to inquire about any violations that may be registered against them or their companies.

-Notifications and penalties service, which falls within the “Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Management” services within the application, this service is designed to provide comprehensive information about notifications and penalties related to combating money laundering and terrorist financing.
