It will be known as the Gems Medical District and will contain hospitals, laboratories, and research and development centres. Next to the Sharjah Mosque, it is situated on the Emirates bypass route.
In Sharjah, a new medical district containing lifestyle, preventive medicine, and women's healthcare facilities will develop.
This initiative, a first-of-its-kind partnership between the Beeah Group, Brigham General Hospitals Network, and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, is anticipated to enhance Sharjah's healthcare industry with world-class expertise and more integrated services.

During a reception conducted at the Budaiya Palace for representatives of the cooperating authorities, the approval was granted in the presence of Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Environmental Group and Sheikh Sultan's wife.
Lifestyle and preventive medicine, oncology, women's health, paediatrics, cardiovascular disease, neurosciences, behavioural health, and rehabilitation medicine will be featured in the district.
It is also anticipated that the Boston Gems Medical District will substantially contribute to medical studies and cancer disease research.
The CEO of Bee'ah Group, Khaled Al Huraimel, stated that the endeavour "will enhance the quality of life in the emirate and beyond."
Dr. Abdulaziz Saeed Al Muhairi, chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority, added that the medical district initiative represents an improvement in the quality of health care in the United Arab Emirates.
