Through an official decision, the competent authorities in the UAE announced the beginning date, end point, and duration of the Eid al-Fitr holiday for all employees and workers in the country. This date for the conclusion of the Eid al-Fitr holiday was announced by the private and government sectors in the UAE.

The date that employees in government-related positions in the Emirates will be given the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

The federal administration of the United Arab Emirates has determined that the Eid al-Fitr holiday will begin on Thursday, Ramadan 29, which corresponds to April 20, 2023, and will end on Sunday, Shawwal 3, which corresponds to April 23, 2023. This date was chosen so that the festival will last for a total of five days.

The duration of the Eid al-Fitr holiday in the government sector in the UAE

It was decided that the leave will start on the 29th of Ramadan and continue until the 3rd of Shawwal, and in accordance with that from the Gregorian date, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources issued a special circular today regarding the Eid al-Fitr holiday in the federal government for the year 1444 AH. They also prayed to God Almighty, asking him to bless them with good health and wellness.

On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation stated that all employees working in the private sector in the country will receive a paid holiday beginning on the 29th day of Ramadan and continuing until the 3rd day of Shawwal, 1444 AH, which corresponds to the 29th day of the Gregorian calendar.
