The UAE government issues a new residence visa valid for 5 years, renewable

According to the UAE government's official website, the green residency for work purposes is a type of residency visa that was introduced in 2021 and enables its holder to live in the nation for a period of 5 years without the need for a guarantor, host, or employer sponsor. The residency is also renewable after it expires.

According to her, qualified workers, independent contractors, and private employers can all qualify for a green residency visa.

In order for the self-employed and private employers to qualify for a green residency visa, they must meet the following criteria: the applicant's annual income from self-employment for the previous two years should not have been less than 360,000 dirhams or the equivalent in foreign currencies, or he must demonstrate his financial solvency throughout his stay in the country in order to obtain a self-employment permit—private work—from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.

The skilled worker, according to her, must meet the following requirements in order to obtain a green residency visa in order to work: they must obtain a work permit in the country in accordance with a valid work contract; they must fall under the category of skilled workers in the first, second, or third professional level of Classification of professions approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization; and they must have at least a bachelor's degree.

When it comes to the green residence renewal, she affirmed that it is possible to extend the visa for the same time frame.
