The United Arab Emirates announced that it has provided five million US dollars in relief aid to affected civilians in Ukraine, in response to the United Nations urgent appeal and the Regional Refugee Response Plan in Ukraine, which reflects the country's focus on the principles of human solidarity in conflict situations.
The UAE stresses the importance of focusing on the deteriorating humanitarian situation for civilians and ensuring their protection, as well as allowing entry for humanitarian agencies, establishing safe corridors, and allowing anyone who wishes to leave to do so without discrimination or obstacles, as stated in the UAE statement, and what was discussed during the Security Council meeting held on February 28 on the humanitarian situation in Ukraine.
