This holiday will start on the 29th of Ramadan and last till the 3rd of Shawwal. It will last for three whole days. Urgent UAE announces Eid al-Fitr 2023 holiday
According to the ministry, the declaration was made in accordance with the decision made by the Cabinet of the UAE to offer equal formal public holidays to both the public and private sectors as well as the government. These holidays are considered to be public holidays in the UAE. This decision was made in order to provide equivalent official holidays for the public.
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) in the United Arab Emirates confirmed earlier today that the Eid holiday that will be observed by the public sector will remain on the same dates as in previous years. This holiday will be celebrated on an annual basis.
