UAE green residency requirements to work for 5 years without a sponsor or employer
According to the UAE government's official portal, beginning in 2021, a new category of residency visa called "green residency for the purpose of work" will be introduced, allowing its holder to live and work in the country for a maximum of 5 years without the need for a guarantor, host, or employer sponsor.

The following criteria must be met by both private employers and self-employed individuals in order to qualify for a green residency visa: the applicant has earned an annual income from self-employment of not less than 360,000 dirhams or the equivalent in foreign currencies for the past two years, or he must prove his financial solvency throughout his stay in the country, in order to obtain a self-employment permit - private work from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
Green residence visa in the UAE for the skilled worker
Workers who fall into the category of skilled workers at the first, second, or third professional level of the Classification of professions approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and have a bachelor's degree or higher are eligible to apply for a green residency visa that will allow them to work in the country.
