UAE: New updates to the green traffic system for 6 community categories
Al Hosn, the UAE’s official COVID-19-related app, has announced updates to the Green Traffic Protocol for six segments of the community including restaurants, recruiters, volunteers, visitors, and COVID-19 survivors, as well as individuals receiving EVUSHELD treatment.

Updates to the Green Traffic Protocol
Al Hosn, the UAE’s official COVID-19-related app, has announced updates to the Green Traffic Protocol for six segments of the community including restaurants, recruiters, volunteers, visitors, and COVID-19 survivors, as well as individuals receiving EVUSHELD treatment.
To keep the green state within the app
In detail, the update of the restaurant category included that individuals who received two doses of vaccination before completing six months should obtain a negative result of the PCR every 30 days, to maintain the green state in the application, while individuals who were vaccinated with a booster dose after completing six months must obtain a negative result of the PCR every 30 days, in order to maintain the green state.
Those who are exempted from vaccination
The department pointed out that exempted persons (with a medical exemption from vaccination) must obtain a negative result of the PCR every 30 days, to maintain the green state, and volunteers (individuals who were volunteers during vaccination trials) must also obtain a negative PCR result every 30 days, to maintain the green state.
Individuals not vaccinated by the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship
The update for visitors, for individuals approved for vaccination by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, ensures a negative result of the PCR nose swab examination every 30 days, to maintain the green condition, while individuals who are not approved for vaccination by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security must obtain a negative PCR result every seven days, in order
