UAE official digital channels list for medical complaints 2023

The UAE government has revealed three official channels to submit complaints about medical services and health care, emphasising that there are legal provisions that protect the rights of patients in the country, where individuals in the UAE can use these digital channels to submit complaints and inquiries about medical services, and these official channels also promote digital culture and enhance transparency in the healthcare sector.

In accordance with worldwide standards, high-quality medical services will be provided, and the numerous legal provisions aim to protect patients' rights.

As , Individuals can submit medical complaints to the Emirates Health Services' health facilities via its website (www.ehs.gov.ae), and this service allows patients, their families, or their representatives to submit medical complaints related to diagnosis, treatment, or other procedures when they receive medical service in hospitals and health and specialised centres affiliated with the institution.

Furthermore, complaints can be submitted to private health facilities and their medical staff via the Ministry of Health and Prevention website (www.mohap.gov.ae), and this service allows community members to submit complaints or observations on private health and pharmaceutical facilities licenced by the Ministry of Health and Prevention in the Northern Emirates (Sharjah, Ajman, Um Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah) and their medical and technical staff working there.

Patients can raise complaints to the "Digital Government," which is also where the "Patient Charter" is displayed.
