UAE reveals the lengths of public and free beaches in Dubai
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid unveiled a new plan that has been officially approved in the UAE, with the goal of developing and establishing a number of public and free beaches in the UAE as part of a project to expand the area of public beaches and raise the rates of services and facilities on them.

As part of the project, which has already begun, Dubai released a master plan for building around 54 kilometres of beaches in the following areas: (Palm Jebel Ali, Palm Jumeirah, and Al Mamzar), as well as a new beach in Jebel Ali.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, unveiled the project, which included the complete development of these beaches, including pedestrian walkways, cafes, and public facilities, as well as the establishment of closed beach areas and eating spaces.

The UAE's longest and free public beach
The new beach, "Jebel Ali Beach," is expected to be roughly 8 km long, and it is being built in collaboration with Nakheel, a company specialising in tree planting and marine habitat preservation.

A new public and direct bus service will also be introduced to connect the Jebel Ali Metro Station with the beach, in addition to the existing one.
It is a unique opportunity to visit the turtle pens on the beaches, which are part of the UAE's initiatives to reintroduce turtles to their native habitat and rehabilitate endangered species.
