Urgent UAE: Allow travel to countries to which travel has been previously prohibited

The General Authority of Civil Aviation and the National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management announced the lifting of the travel suspension for those receiving full vaccine doses and booster doses according to the national protocol for booster doses.. to countries to which travel was prohibited.

The suspension of travel of citizens receiving full vaccine doses and booster doses according to the national protocol for booster doses has been lifted to the countries to which travel has been prohibited, namely Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Republic of the Congo, Republic of South Africa, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho Mozambique, Namibia and Zimbabwe, as of Sunday, February 6th. The authorities in the country have determined the categories that are allowed to travel to these countries, which are.. First: the immunized citizens who received the full doses of the (Covid 19) vaccine in addition to the booster doses.

Second: Unvaccinated citizens are among the medically excluded groups from taking the vaccine, in addition to humanitarian and treatment cases. In this regard, the two bodies stressed the need for all citizens to adhere to precautionary and preventive measures, and not to be lenient in applying health requirements, such as social distancing, wearing a muzzle, and constantly disinfecting hands.
