The federal government in the United Arab Emirates issued a new statement announcing the conditions for obtaining a virtual work visa in the UAE.

In this context, the Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs and Ports Security in the UAE announced the availability of a service, submitting a request to obtain a virtual work residence visa in the UAE for foreigners, through the smart services system.

On a related note, the federal government has set specific conditions to allow foreigners to be granted a virtual work residence visa in the Emirates, and according to the authority, two conditions have been announced.

The first of these conditions: Submission of evidence that the applicant is working for a visa with an entity outside the UAE, and that proof of work is based on the remote work system.

The second of these conditions is that the applicant for the visa presents proof that he has a monthly income of no less than 3,500 US dollars, or the equivalent of this value in foreign currencies.

The value of the application fee for a virtual work residence visa in the UAE has been set at 100 dirhams, the issuance fee has been set at 100 dirhams, and the fees for electronic services and the federal authority have been set at 50 dirhams, knowing that the value of the fees may vary according to the data included in the application.

Duration of benefiting from a virtual work residence visa in the UAE:
The virtual work residence permit grants the foreigner the right to reside in the UAE for a period of one year, subject to renewal.

Privileges of a virtual work residence visa in the UAE:
The virtual work residence visa allows the foreign employee to enter the UAE and continue to practice his work remotely without a guarantor (host) for a full year, which is subject to renewal.
