First: New Year's holidays

Second: Eid Al-Fitr holiday

Third: Arafa pause holiday

Fourth: Eid al-Adha holiday

Fifth: Hijri New Year

Sixth: The Prophet’s birthday holiday

Seventh: The celebrations of the 52nd National Day of the UAE

Number of public holidays in 2023 in the UAE

In its last meeting, the UAE Cabinet approved the official holiday agenda for the government and private sectors in the UAE during the year 2023, and the total number of approved official paid holidays was 12 days.

New Year's Eve holiday in the UAE 2023

It starts on January 1st, 2023 and is a one-day holiday.

Eid Al-Fitr holiday in the UAE 2023

This holiday is for 4 days, starting from the 29th of Ramadan and ending on the 3rd of Shawwal 1444 AH.

According to what Judge Jamal Al-Jabri, President of the Dubai Labor Court, revealed that the new labor law includes new types of leaves, such as:

Second: maternity leave

Third: study leave

Fourth: A sabbatical leave to perform national service for citizens

The mourning leave is 5 days upon the death of the husband or wife, and 3 days upon the death of (mother - father - children - brothers - grandchildren - grandparents).
