Increase in airline ticket prices for passengers from the UAE by 35%

Some travel agency managers confirmed that ticket prices are expected to continue to rise during the coming period, in conjunction with the holiday, to reach high levels with regard to recent reservations, which are made hours or days before the travel date.

They also confirmed that the most requested Arab destinations, which are witnessing increases in ticket prices, are: Cairo, Alexandria, Amman, and Beirut.

Period of increase in airline ticket prices in the Emirates:
It is worth noting that ticket prices are expected to continue to rise by between 31% and 35% on some flights to 4 Arab destinations, compared to the average prices of the same flights during one week, starting from November 13, and this rise comes in conjunction with the winter vacation for schools in next December.

These prices, which are subject to availability, are the least expensive, and they differ from “flexible prices”, which provide additional benefits.

Flight ticket prices for passengers from the UAE:
It is worth noting that the average ticket price to the Egyptian capital, Cairo, reached about 2,000 dirhams during the week starting from December 13, compared to about 1,500 dirhams for trips for the same period in the week starting from November 13, an increase of 33%.

The average ticket price to the Lebanese capital, Beirut, was 2,100 dirhams, compared to 1,600 dirhams, an increase of more than 31%, to the Jordanian capital, Amman, 2,300 dirhams, compared to 1,700 dirhams, an increase of 35%, and to the Egyptian city of Alexandria, about 2,000 dirhams, compared to 1,500 dirhams, an increase of 33%.

Reasons for the increase in booking airline tickets in the Emirates during the winter vacation:
It is worth noting that the demand for travel during the winter vacation from within the UAE to abroad is concentrated in two parts:

The first is for the purpose of visiting the residents of the country to their countries

The second is concentrated in tourist destinations that are considered the most popular in Europe and Southeast Asia, as well as tourist stations relatively close to the country's airports, pointing out that the most requested Arab destinations are: Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon, according to what was published by Al-Emarat Al-Youm newspaper.
