Nationalities that do not require a visa to enter the Emirates are called visa-exempt nationalities. The United Arab Emirates recently passed a new law that affects fifty-eight countries all over the world. This law specifies the countries that are permitted to enter without a visa in order to boost tourism and global investments. The goal of this law is to help the state achieve its goal of becoming the top choice in the Arab world and among the best in the world.

The Sultanate of Oman, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, and the State of Bahrain are among the Arab nations whose nationals are exempt from the requirement to obtain a visa in order to enter the United Arab Emirates. Other nationalities from around the world are also exempt from this requirement.

The following non-Arab nations are permitted entry into the United Arab Emirates: (Australia, South Korea, Norway, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom; Monaco, the Vatican, Romania, and Croatia; France, Spain, Latvia, Japan, Bulgaria, and Denmark are also permitted entry).

The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Foreign Affairs has made an announcement that citizens of fifty-eight nations no longer require a visa to enter the UAE.

In addition to the nations that are members of the Gulf Cooperation Council, this includes about thirty-one countries that are members of the European Union and the Schengen region. Additionally, twenty countries that are not members of the European Union treat their citizens in the same manner.


The nationals of all of those countries have the ability to enter the country and remain there for a period of ninety days, provided that their passport is either diplomatic, official, or ordinary. This provision applies to the countries that are a part of the European Union; however, nationals from the other twenty countries that are not a part of the Schengen area or the European Union will only be allowed to stay for thirty days.

The total cost of a long-entry visa is 740 dirhams, which is broken down as follows: 100 dirhams are required for the application costs, 450 dirhams are required for the issuance fees, 100 dirhams are required for the urgent expenses, and 90 dirhams are required for the health insurance charge.

It is only possible to extend residency for all forms of visas a total of twice after entering the UAE, and this can be done for a variety of nations without the individual having to exit and then re-enter the country.


The visa appointment application must be submitted before the statutory deadline in order to be considered for renewal. The renewal application price is around six hundred dirhams.
