The payment of salaries to the employees of will take place in April, just in time for the celebration of Eid al-Fitr in the UAE.
Beginning on April 17, employees of the government sector of the UAE will get their salaries for this month in advance, in preparation for Eid al-Fitr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates as well as the Ruler of Dubai, is the one who issued the decree.
UAE announces early salary for workers
This action is being taken with the intention of allowing workers and their families to take pleasure in the holiday celebration.
Observations made by astronomers indicate that the holiday of Eid al-Fitr will take place on April 21. After the moon has been spotted, there will be an official announcement made.
"It is very likely that this year's Ramadan will last for a total of 29 days. The celebration of Eid al-Fitr and the beginning of the month of Shawwal will take place on Friday, April 21, according to Ibrahim Al Jarwan, chairman of the Emirates Astronomical Society.

Residents of the UAE can look forward to a four-day long weekend as the holy month of Ramadan is about to come to an end the following week.
It was reported the week before last that the Ministry of Labour (MOL) of Oman has sent a circular to all private sector companies in Oman, asking them to pay their employees' paychecks no later than April 18, 2023, in order to commemorate the holiday of Eid ul-Fitr.
