The emirates announces the new smart driving license
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has announced that it would be providing a new service that will enable drivers to avoid carrying their driving licenses by storing a digital copy of them in the RTA's smart application. This will allow drivers to drive more safely.

Enjoy movement in the vehicle without the need to carry the actual driver's licence, as the authority has confirmed that the driver's licence can be added to the "Apple Wallet" through simple steps in the application of the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai. Additionally, this removes any cause for concern for the driver in the event that they forget to carry the actual licence.
The authority had also announced a few days ago the addition of new delivery services to customers, including delivery of driving licences and vehicle ownership documents within two hours of receiving confirmation of transaction procedures within Dubai only, in addition to delivery on the same day in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. These new services are in addition to the existing delivery on the same day in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. A brand new service that will transport international packages to consumers located in countries other than the UAE.
The number of requests to deliver transactions during the first quarter of this year
According to the statistics that were made public by the authority, the total number of requests to deliver transactions that took place during the first three months of this year amounted to 134,640 transactions. Of these, there were approximately 107,054 transactions for the renewal of vehicle ownership, 25,500 transactions for the renewal of driving licences, and 939 transactions for the replacement of driving licences that had been damaged or lost. According to the statistics, 732 transactions related to the delivery of the service of granting an overseas driving licence and 415 transactions related to the delivery of the service of repairing or replacing a damaged or lost car registration were completed.
