The United Arab Emirates will provide money for water and power to help low-income farmers.
The President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has given the Ministry of Community Development and Etihad Water and Electricity the directive to provide assistance to farm owners with poor incomes.

According to statements made by the Ministry of Community Development and Etihad Water and power, a subsidy will be implemented beginning in July 2023 and will be applied in the form of a direct reduction from the monthly bill for the usage of power.

According to the new proposals, it will be acceptable for farmers to host vacation houses and other tourism operations on their land.
Farms that intend to host tourist activities on agricultural land are required to submit an application for a licence and may devote no more than 30 percent of their property to tourism-related activities.
